Ascenty and Celsia report sustainability and financial progress

Ascenty, a joint venture between Digital Realty and Brookfield Infrastructure, has released its 2025 ESG Report. The company reported using 100% renewable energy in its operations and achieved a zero water consumption index for cooling through the use of closed-circuit systems. Ascenty operates three data centers in Quilicura, Chile, where water usage was limited to sanitary and maintenance needs.

Separately, Celsia, an energy company under Grupo Argos, reported its second-quarter 2026 financial results. The company achieved consolidated revenues of $1.35 trillion, a 2.7% increase from the previous year, driven by higher commercialization demand and more efficient connection network use. Celsia also reduced its net debt by $890 billion and maintained a AAA rating from BRC Ratings and Fitch Ratings while implementing efficiency programs to simplify its organizational structure.
