Ascheberg and Olfen host community events and Italian Night

The Ascheberg and Olfen regions in Germany are hosting several community events from August 14 to 16, 2026.

On Friday, August 14, Ascheberg will host ‘Italian Night’ in its town center from 18:00 to midnight. The event features late-night shopping with nearly 50 participating shops and stalls, live music, and various culinary offerings such as pasta, pizza, and cocktails. The program includes theater performances at Eschenplatz, a DJ at Kirchplatz, and a tour of the St. Lambertus Church tower. Additionally, Ascheberg Marketing will celebrate its 50th anniversary at Katharinenplatz.

On Saturday, August 15, Olfen will hold its fourth ‘Summer Special’ event. The local volunteer fire department will manage the evening, transforming the festival meadow behind the town hall into a social venue starting at 18:00.
