Ascit Spa launches free environmental workshops for primary schools

Ascit Spa has announced the return of its “A lezione con Ascit” project for the 2026/2027 school year. This free environmental education initiative is designed for primary school students in several municipalities, including Altopascio, Capannori, Porcari, Montecarlo, Barga, Bagni di Lucca, Borgo a Mozzano, Coreglia Antelminelli, Fabbriche di Vergemoli, Pescaglia, Sillano Giuncugnano, and Villa Basilica.

The program offers interactive, two-hour workshops focused on practical topics such as recycling, material supply chains, and the reduction of packaging. One specific module, “Il percorso dei rifiuti di carta,” teaches students about cellulose fiber, industrial recycling processes, and the importance of proper waste separation. Schools interested in participating must submit their applications by October 10, 2026.
