ASCO Industries to invest $20 million in Da Nang aircraft component plant
ASCO Industries plans to construct an aircraft component manufacturing facility in Da Nang, Vietnam. The project, covering an area of 6,000 square meters, involves an initial investment of $20 million, with potential long-term expansion reaching $100 million.
Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Manh Hung met with ASCO Industries CEO Jerome Morhet to discuss the project and the city's focus on attracting high-tech industries with high value-added potential. The goal is to integrate local manufacturing into global supply chains.
Following an agreement signed in July 2026 between ASCO Industries and the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority (DSEZA), the CEO is scheduled to meet with DSEZA in early December 2026 to finalize construction details. The plant is expected to become operational in 2027.
