Arezzo and Ascoli prepare for Serie B clash amid ticket dispute

Ascoli and Arezzo are set to face each other in a Serie B match at the Città di Arezzo stadium. Ascoli enters the fixture in third place, marking one of the best starts in the club's history in the three-points era. Conversely, Arezzo is seeking its first home victory of the season following recent losses to Benevento and Carrarese.

The match features several former players, including Ascoli's Gori and Brunori, and a coaching duel between Francesco Tomei and Cristian Bucchi, the latter of whom previously managed Ascoli. Historically, encounters between these two sides in Serie B have been highly competitive, with all four previous meetings resulting in draws.

Ahead of the game, Ascoli Calcio has filed a request for review to increase the number of available tickets for its supporters. The club is seeking to unlock at least 200 additional tickets for the away sector after the initial 600 were sold out. The request follows limitations imposed by the Arezzo police, which the club argues deviates from suggestions made by the National Observatory on Sporting Events.
