Ascoli and Treviglio implement new traffic and parking regulations
Local authorities in Ascoli and Treviglio have implemented new traffic and parking regulations to manage urban mobility.
In Ascoli, the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) in the eastern center will remain open to all drivers until September 11. This measure, ordered by the Arengo, involves deactivating the ‘Carmine’ and ‘Mercantini’ electronic gates to facilitate road and sidewalk construction work between via Malaspina, via Cupra, and via Giusti. During this period, no sanctions will be issued for unauthorized transit through these specific gates to prevent congestion near the construction site. Other ZTL gates in the city remain active under their standard operating hours.
In Treviglio, new parking rules have been introduced at the Turro area near the station to better serve commuters and visitors. From Monday to Friday, yellow parking stalls are reserved for resident commuters between 6:00 and 12:00; after midday, they become available to the general public. On Saturdays and Sundays, all stalls are open to everyone to accommodate the local market. This change follows monitoring that showed significant unused capacity in reserved spaces during late morning hours.
