Ascoli Calcio signs Dutch striker Don Bolsius on long‑term deal

Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC announced the permanent acquisition of Dutch forward Don José Henricus Bolsius from Perugia Calcio. The 1998‑born striker, who began his career in the youth systems of OJC, FC Den Bosch and Brabant United, signed a contract running until 30 June 2028 with an option to extend. Bolsius previously played in the Dutch Eerste Divisie and Tweede Divisie before moving to Italy in 2021, featuring for clubs including Fermana, Campobasso, Fidelis Andria, Benevento, Sorrento and Perugia, where he made 12 appearances in the last season.

In the same market window, Ascoli confirmed the departure of winger Enrico Oviszach, who joined Foggia on a loan with a purchase‑option that becomes an obligation if Foggia achieves promotion. The moves are intended to strengthen Ascoli’s attacking options for the upcoming seasons.
