Ascoli Piceno hosts conference on digital innovation in public works

The “Digital, Intelligent, Transparent Construction Site” conference will take place on September 7 and 8 at the Teatro dei Filarmonici in Ascoli Piceno. This event marks the third stage of an initiative launched in 2023 to address innovation, legality, and transparency in public works.

Promoted by the Marche Region, the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC), the Ministry of the Interior, and the National Research Council (CNR), the program focuses on the integration of new technologies in public administration. Key topics include digital public contracts, Building Information Modeling (BIM), data management, and the application of artificial intelligence to improve administrative efficiency.

The two-day event will feature representatives from national and regional institutions, academia, and the private sector. Discussions will also cover specific regional needs, such as post-earthquake reconstruction and the design of hospitals in Pesaro and Macerata.
