Ascoli Piceno hosts digital fraud prevention event

The Young Members Group of Banca del Piceno is organizing a public event titled “Occhio alle truffe Live” (Watch out for scams Live) to address the rising prevalence of digital fraud and online security risks. The meeting will take place on Friday, October 30, at the Sant’Agostino Cultural Center in Ascoli Piceno.

The event features content creator Metateoo and an inspector from the Postal Police to provide practical information on recognizing and preventing various online threats, including smishing and phishing. Banca del Piceno President Sandro Donati emphasized the necessity of the initiative to protect customers and the community from increasingly sophisticated digital scams.
