Ascoli Piceno Provincial Police announce speed checks and hunting season surveillance

The Provincial Police of Ascoli Piceno has announced several enforcement initiatives for September. The department has scheduled speed monitoring operations across multiple provincial roads, including S.S. 16, S.R. 235, and S.P. 43. These checks, which utilize both mobile and fixed equipment, aim to reduce accidents and improve traffic flow in areas where critical issues have been reported.

Additionally, following the reopening of the hunting season, the Provincial Police conducted intensive surveillance activities on September 5 and 6. Patrols focused on verifying documentation, ensuring compliance with permitted hours and distances, and protecting designated conservation zones. Commander Vendrame noted that despite personnel shortages, the force remains committed to territory control and responding to reports of crop damage.
