Ascoli Piceno to host guided tour of religious orders

On Saturday, October 31, the city of Ascoli Piceno will host a free guided tour titled ‘Ascoli: i francescani e gli altri ordini religiosi’. The event aims to explore the history, art, and spirituality of the city through locations that demonstrate the presence of religious orders and their role in shaping the local cultural identity.

Promoted by U.S. Acli Marche APS as part of the ‘SSC – Social Smart City’ project, the initiative is funded by the national ‘Educare in Comune’ grant. The tour will focus specifically on the Franciscan presence and the social, cultural, and artistic contributions of various religious communities over the centuries.

Participants will meet at 3:00 PM in Piazza Arringo, in front of the Cathedral. The event is free but limited to 100 people, and mandatory registration via message is required by October 30.
