Ascoli: Woman seeks witnesses after alleged strangulation attempt on son

A woman has used social media to report a violent assault on her 21-year-old son in Ascoli. According to Dana Cappelli, the incident occurred in the San Marcello area on Via Abruzzo between 11:30 PM and 11:45 PM, shortly after an Ascoli football match.

Cappelli claims the attacker approached the young man from behind while he was in his car, attempting to strangle him and leaving bruises on his neck. She noted that the victim managed to escape the situation. The mother is currently seeking witnesses who may have been in the heavily trafficked area at the time to help reconstruct the details of the attack.
