ASCSU Senate ratifies Supreme Court and elects committee chair

The Associated Students of Colorado State University (ASCSU) held its third session of the 56th senate on August 26. Following the swearing in of new senators and associates, the assembly ratified the ASCSU Supreme Court.

Dylan Mastrogiovanni was confirmed as chief justice, with Rocio Villalobos-Quintero serving as deputy chief justice. The new associate justices include Karis Blackman, Nevaeh Greene, Quinlan Kelleher, and Sophie Meyer. Mastrogiovanni noted that the judicial branch is still seeking to fill additional associate justice positions.

The session also included the election of the Internal Affairs Committee chair. Additionally, former senator Jackson Singleton announced plans to collaborate with newly elected ASCSU President Victoria Quesada-Stoner and Pride Resource Center Senator Brooke Reese on ongoing projects.
