ASD Alguer Rugby appoints Massimo Sandri as new technical lead

ASD Alguer Rugby has begun athletic preparations for the upcoming Serie C championship season. The club has appointed Massimo Sandri as the new technical leader for the first team. Sandri brings international coaching experience from Italy, Spain, and Paraguay, as well as training from New Zealand.

The squad for the 2026/2027 season will primarily consist of players from Alghero and Sassari, supplemented by experienced players from the Italian peninsula. In addition to the first team, the club is organizing activities for youth categories, women's rugby, inclusive rugby, and school programs.
