ASD Ugo Tesone Lioni hosts community minibasket tournament in San Rocco

The ASD Ugo Tesone Lioni organized the inaugural minibasket tournament on the sagrato of the Church of San Rocco. Over three days nearly 60 children participated, turning the churchyard into a field of sport, friendship and inclusive play. Families, volunteers and local officials gathered to watch the games, which emphasized respect, collaboration and fair‑play.

The event was supported by Don Gelsomino, who granted permission to use the church grounds, and featured a street‑performance by Pagliaccio Felice. The Associazione Gift helped raise funds for people with disabilities, while former players Niccolò Racioppi and Loris Branca served as referees. Organisers thanked all participants for making the first edition a success and a model of community aggregation through sport.
