Asda expands plant-based offerings with vegan Christmas range and new ready meals

Asda has announced its vegan Christmas food range for 2026, featuring various plant-based festive essentials. The selection includes items such as a ‘No Turkey Crown’ made from soya protein, a butternut, cranberry, and chestnut wreath, and various desserts like Christmas pudding and mince pies. Many products in the range are certified by the Vegan Society.

In a separate expansion, plant-based brand One Planet Pizza has launched a new line of ready meals exclusively at 276 Asda stores across the UK. The range includes Tofu Tikka Masala, Mac & Cheeze, and a Veg & Lentil Ragù Lasagne. These meals are designed to be high in protein and fibre, utilizing whole-food ingredients like lentils, beans, and tofu.
