Asda reintroduces 5p-per-litre fuel discount for Rewards members

Asda has reintroduced a fuel-saving promotion for its Rewards app users in response to rising living costs. Customers who spend £40 or more in a single in-store transaction between 23 September and 14 October will receive a 5p-per-litre fuel coupon.

The coupon is redeemable on a single fuel purchase at 262 participating Asda and Asda Express sites selling Asda-branded fuel until 31 October. For a typical 60-litre family car, the discount could save drivers up to £3.

The offer comes as UK diesel prices approach record highs. According to RAC data, the average diesel price reached 197.75p per litre on 24 September, nearing the record of 199.09p set in June 2022. Some stations are already charging over £2 per litre.
