ASELSAN and four Turkish firms enter global top 100 defense companies list
Turkish defense companies have seen significant growth in global rankings, with five firms appearing in the world's top 100 defense companies list. ASELSAN leads the Turkish group, rising to 40th place with $4.46 billion in defense revenue.
Other notable Turkish companies in the rankings include TUSAŞ at 48th place with $3.65 billion in revenue, and ROKETSAN at 64th. ARCA Savunma made its debut on the list, ranking 53rd with $3 billion in defense revenue. MKE also secured a position among the top 100.
ASELSAN, which operates in domains ranging from radar and electronic warfare to avionics and guided munitions, reported a 25% annual growth rate. The company exports to 97 countries and reinvests $1.3 billion annually into research and development. CEO Ahmet Akyol attributed the industry's rapid expansion to increased global demand for security solutions amid rising regional conflicts.
