ASELSAN demonstrates TOLUN ammunition family in Turkey

ASELSAN successfully conducted an International Guided Systems Demo Activity at the Konya Karapınar Shooting Test Range, showcasing the TOLUN Deep Strike Ammunition family. The demonstration, attended by military officials from over 15 countries, featured live firing tests launched from a Bayraktar AKINCI platform.

Three specific variants were tested: - TOLUN I, featuring an impact fuse and particle-effective warhead, achieved a direct hit on a container target. - TOLUN F, equipped with an approach sensor and programmable electronic fuse, was used against an armored personnel carrier to demonstrate its ability to detonate at a specific distance and its resistance to GPS spoofing. - TOLUN P, utilizing a penetrator warhead and the ASAF hard target fuse, successfully penetrated a two-story concrete building to destroy internal elements.

The TOLUN family can be deployed in multiple quantities via the SADAK-4T Multiple Carry Rack and is designed for simultaneous engagement of multiple targets in various weather conditions, day or night.
