ASELSAN develops ASELBUOY systems for anti-submarine warfare

ASELSAN has developed two new integrated systems, ASELBUOY P and ASELBUOY POD, designed to enhance anti-submarine warfare capabilities, specifically for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

ASELBUOY P provides passive acoustic detection to identify underwater threats. It can be deployed from maritime patrol aircraft, helicopters, and UAVs. Once in position, its sensitive underwater sensors listen to the acoustic environment to detect submarines, transmitting real-time data to surface and aerial platforms via a communication system located on a surface buoy.

ASELBUOY POD is a modular launcher system developed to integrate sonoboys into UAV platforms. It allows for the safe, controlled, and effective deployment of various sonoboy types into the water from different aerial platforms, providing operational flexibility for maritime security.
