ASELSAN engineers have released a study titled ‘Strategic Outlook’ focusing on the evolution of guidance systems and the shifting paradigms of modern warfare. The research highlights a transition from traditional platform superiority to a focus on network and data superiority.
Key doctrinal changes include the replacement of centralized command structures with flexible, distributed command models. The study also notes a shift from human-intensive operations toward hybrid structures where humans, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems work in tandem. Modern combat strategies are moving away from purely physical destruction toward effect-based approaches, such as neutralizing, blinding, or disabling enemy capabilities through integrated kinetic, electronic warfare, and cyber operations.
