Asenograd man fined for vandalizing city park

A 43-year-old man from Asenovgrad has been sentenced by the local district court following an incident of vandalism and hooliganism in a city park on July 25, 2026. The individual caused damage to municipal property, specifically a playground fence and a park bench, totaling approximately 41.50 euros.

The man pleaded guilty to charges of damaging property and hooliganism. As part of a settlement with the prosecution, the court imposed a total fine of 500 euros and a public reprimand to be announced by the Municipality of Asenovgrad. Additionally, the defendant was ordered to pay 108.55 euros in legal costs, while the physical damages to the property have been fully restored.
