ASEP announces 3,262 public sector jobs and leadership results in Greece

The Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP) has announced several recruitment updates for the Greek public sector.

Under proclamation 7K/2026, ASEP is opening 3,262 positions for personnel with compulsory education (primary and lower secondary school diplomas). These roles include permanent staff and private law contract employees (IDAX). The vacancies cover a wide range of specialties, including healthcare assistants, hospital ward assistants, patient transporters, cemetery workers, technical workers in construction and water management, and various general labor roles.

Additionally, ASEP has released the final results for General Director positions within the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and the General Secretariat of Sports. Following the review of candidate objections, the selection process for four General Director roles—covering Digital Systems, International and European Education, Vocational Training, and Sports Organization—is moving toward its final stage.
