ASEP announces thousands of public sector job openings in Greece

The Supreme Council for Selection of Personnel (ASEP) has announced several large-scale recruitment drives for various public sector positions across Greece.

One major announcement, under proclamation 7K/2026, offers 3,262 positions for candidates with compulsory education (primary or secondary school diplomas). These roles include health assistants, nursing assistants, patient transporters, cemetery workers, and general technical or cleaning staff. Selection for these roles will be based on priority without a written exam.

Additionally, proclamation 3GB/2026 targets candidates with university education for 97 permanent and fixed-term positions. These roles are distributed among various ministries, independent authorities, and public organizations, including the Ministry of Development, the Ministry of Justice, the National Organization for Medicines (EOF), and the National Cybersecurity Authority.

Other local recruitment drives include hundreds of positions for various municipalities and cultural institutions, such as the Ministry of Culture and the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, covering roles from drivers and workers to specialized staff.
