Aser Ventures explores selling part of its DAZN stake

Aser Ventures, the investment vehicle headed by Italian businessman Andrea Radrizzani, is considering selling a portion of its minority holding in the sports streaming platform DAZN. Radrizzani told Reuters the company is looking at a range of financing options, from pure debt financing to hybrid solutions and equity investments, and would prefer partners such as funds or family offices that already have exposure to the sports‑tech sector.

Aser first acquired its stake when DAZN purchased the ELEVEN Group in 2023, giving it roughly a 5% share valued at around $400 million at that time. Subsequent capital increases at DAZN have diluted the holding, and Aser declined to disclose the current size or value of the stake. Discussions with potential investors are already under way as the firm seeks to fund further expansion in the sports and technology markets.
