ASF approves Bucharest Stock Exchange Code for SMEs and new pension rules

The Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) has approved several regulatory measures concerning non-banking financial markets, including insurance, capital markets, and private pensions.

Key decisions include the approval of the Bucharest Stock Exchange Code for the Multilateral Trading Facility and the registration of a growth market specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, the ASF approved amendments to regulations governing the administration of alternative investment funds and proposed new accounting standards for private pension systems to ensure compliance with European directives.

Regarding corporate authorizations, the ASF approved organizational changes for SAI Star Asset Management following the appointment of Nicoleta Sache as Director. The authority also authorized the Stockwave private equity alternative investment fund, submitted by Smart Equity.
