Ashbrittle widened its advantage at the summit of the West Somerset Cricket League, opening a 54‑point lead in the first division after an eight‑wicket home victory over Over Stowey. With title rivals Watchet not playing, Ashbrittle capitalised on the toss, batting first and posting a total chased down in just 15.2 overs. Opener Wilfred Embleton scored an unbeaten 74, while Luke Williams added 16 not out. The bowling attack was led by Will Barrington (4‑15), Steve Grant (2‑43) and Oliver White (2‑16).
