Ashbrittle wins West Somerset Cricket League title

Ashbrittle has secured the first division title in the West Somerset Cricket League following a victory over their main rivals, Crowcombe. After choosing to bat first, Ashbrittle posted a score of 250-8 in their 40 overs, supported by Callum Knight’s 54 runs. Crowcombe fell 72 runs short of the required total, leaving Ashbrittle at the top of the table with a 55-point lead.

In other league action, Watchet remains a contender for the runner-up position after defeating Bridgetown by 71 runs. Additionally, Morebath secured a narrow ten-run victory over Bagborough despite Bagborough scoring over 300 runs.
