Ashgabat dental center to utilize AI for diagnostics and surgery

A new, ultra-modern dental center is nearing completion in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, featuring integrated artificial intelligence and advanced medical technology. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov recently inspected the construction progress and was briefed on the facility's technological capabilities.

The center will specialize in dental care and maxillofacial surgery, utilizing equipment manufactured in Germany, Japan, and the United States. AI-enabled systems will be used for data analysis, complex treatment procedures, and to improve the precision of dental designs. The facility includes a laboratory for 45 specialists equipped with computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems, automated 3D printing, and model-cleaning equipment.

Additional departments will include radiology, endoscopy, clinical laboratory services, surgery, and intensive care. To ensure high-quality operations, the President emphasized the need for highly qualified personnel and suggested collaboration with the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan. The center's opening is expected to coincide with Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers' Day.
