Ashlee Mora called up to Mexico Women's U-20 squad

Ashlee Mora, a defender and captain for the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Miners, has been called up to the Mexico Women's U-20 National Team for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland.

Mora, a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was selected as part of the squad preparing for the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from September 5 to 27, 2026. The tournament will feature 24 national teams, including Mexico, which qualified through the Concacaf zone.

During her 2025 season with UTEP, Mora was a starter in 15 matches and contributed significantly to the team's defense, helping maintain several clean sheets. She also played a role in the attack, recording two assists. Mora will report to the High Performance Center in Mexico City before the team travels to Poland.
