Ashley Cole in talks for Bromley managerial vacancy
Bromley has reportedly opened discussions with former England and Chelsea player Ashley Cole regarding their vacant managerial position. The club is seeking a permanent successor following the departure of Andy Woodman, who recently left the League One side by mutual consent.
Cole, 45, previously held a brief managerial role at the Italian club Cesena, where he recorded one win in eight matches. Despite this, he is considered a strong contender for the role due to his extensive coaching experience as an assistant at clubs including Chelsea, Birmingham City, and Derby County, as well as with the England national team.
Bromley currently sits 22nd in League One. While Byron Webster is managing the team on an interim basis, the board aims to finalize a permanent appointment as soon as possible. Other names, such as Blackburn Rovers assistant Mike Dodds, have also been linked to the position.
