Ashley Cooke releases self-titled sophomore country album

Nashville-based country artist Ashley Cooke has released her self-titled sophomore album via Big Loud Records and Back Blocks Music. The 15-track project explores themes of modern love and personal growth through a variety of musical styles, including her signature ‘Coastal Country,’ piano ballads, and Motown-inspired soul.

Produced primarily by Dann Huff, the album was written in real time as Cooke navigated the complexities of a relationship. Notable tracks include the country-pop anthem ‘dance around it’ and the radio hit ‘baby blues.’ To support the release, Cooke is launching ‘the cities that made me’ tour, beginning in Nashville.
