Ashlyn Harris and Sophia Bush attend A Sense of Home gala

Ashlyn Harris and Sophia Bush attended the inaugural A Sense of Home gala in New York City on September 23. The event aimed to raise funds to prevent homelessness for youth aging out of foster care.

Harris, a retired USWNT goalkeeper, appeared on the red carpet alongside Bush and her two children, Sloane and Ocean. The children were adopted by Harris and her ex-wife, fellow soccer player Ali Krieger. During a joint speech at the gala, Harris and Bush expressed gratitude for the support that allowed them to pursue their dreams.

Harris has spoken publicly about her commitment to positive co-parenting with Krieger following the finalization of their divorce in early 2025. She emphasized her respect for Krieger as a mother and a player, stating her intention to remain a “good human” throughout their highly publicized transition.
