Ashrit Talluri achieves perfect 1600 SAT score at age 14
Ashrit Talluri, a 14-year-old student from Fulton County, Georgia, has achieved a perfect 1600 score on the official SAT. While most students take the exam during high school, Talluri completed the test during middle school.
Talluri had previously achieved perfect scores on three practice exams. His preparation included five months of study using tutors, YouTube videos, and over two dozen practice tests. During his middle school years, he completed 14.5 high school credits and attended summer programs at Harvard and Rice universities.
Currently a ninth grader at Innovation Academy, Talluri is enrolled in college-level dual enrollment courses. In his spare time, he writes SAT practice questions to assist other students with test-taking strategies. He also participates in chess, aviation, and local hackathons, with aspirations to become a neurosurgeon.
