Ashton and Zach Smith, known as the ‘World Cup Couple’, are traveling to Croatia for their honeymoon this October. The couple gained viral fame after their wedding in Philadelphia on June 26, 2026, was unexpectedly joined by hundreds of Croatian football fans.

During their wedding celebrations outside Philadelphia City Hall, fans surrounded the newlyweds with singing, dancing, and the Croatian flag. Following the viral spread of the footage, the Croatian Tourist Board, prompted by the ‘Croatian Fans Embassy We Croats’ club and Igor Čavlović, invited the couple to visit the country.

The Smiths are scheduled to be in Croatia from October 4 to October 12. Their itinerary includes visiting Split, where they plan to attend a Croatia vs. Spain match, and traveling to Dubrovnik.
