Ashton Jeanty targets breakout 2026 season with Las Vegas Raiders

Running back Ashton Jeanty entered the NFL as a sixth‑round pick after a record‑setting college career at Boise State and a near‑Heisman finish. His rookie 2025 season was uneven, producing 975 rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns and five receiving touchdowns, but the Las Vegas Raiders saw potential.

The Raiders have overhauled the offensive line, signing three‑time Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum to an $81 million deal and adding guard Spencer Burford, while also drafting Trey Zuhn III. New head coach Klint Kubiak, known for a physical rushing attack, says Jeanty will be a "major part of this team" and will receive more opportunities.

Jeanty expressed confidence ahead of the 2026 campaign, stating, "Ain't nothing going to stop me," and emphasizing his focus on proving his abilities rather than responding to critics. The combination of a stronger line and a run‑focused offense fuels optimism that Jeanty could become a leading back for the Raiders.
