Ashton Jeanty to play for Raiders despite injuries and poor rushing stats

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty is facing production challenges due to a combination of injuries and offensive line struggles. Jeanty is currently managing both a high ankle sprain sustained before the season opener and a recent foot injury.

Statistical analysis indicates that the Raiders' offensive line is struggling to create running lanes. According to NFL analyst Warren Sharp, the Raiders' rushers are met at or behind the line of scrimmage 53% of the time, which is the second-worst rate in the NFL. This has contributed to Jeanty averaging only 3.3 yards per carry.

Despite internal discussions regarding potential rest, head coach Klint Kubiak has confirmed that Jeanty will play in the upcoming game against the Buffalo Bills. Kubiak stated that Jeanty is ‘really starting to feel a lot better physically’ and intends to increase his practice repetitions.
