Asia Argento begins process to remove all tattoos

Italian actress Asia Argento has announced her decision to undergo a comprehensive laser removal process to eliminate all her tattoos. At 51 years old, Argento described the tattoos as a “youthful error” that no longer represents her identity and can act as a limitation in her professional work.

The procedure is being conducted by aesthetic surgeon Gaspare Reina. Argento shared that the process is physically and psychologically taxing, involving multiple sessions to address ink across her entire body. She has already completed the removal on her hands, which previously featured names of influential artists and various words. The treatment is now progressing to her arms and chest, including a large geometric and mandala-style piece on her torso.
