Asia Commercial Bank launches cross-border QR payment solution

Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) has officially launched a cross-border QR payment solution designed for both individual travelers and business entities.

Individual customers can use the ACB ONE app to scan VietQRGlobal or partner network codes in China, Singapore, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. Payments are deducted directly from VND accounts and automatically converted to local currencies at the transaction time. ACB is currently offering fee waivers for individual customers' cross-border QR transactions according to its periodic policies.

For businesses and household merchants in Vietnam, the solution allows them to accept payments from international tourists using a single QR code. The system is connected to major international networks, including Alipay+, WeChat Pay (Tenpay), UnionPay, GLN QR, NETS, and ITMX. This enables merchants to receive funds directly into their ACB accounts from customers in China, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia.
