Asia Express contestants and host celebrate milestones

Oana Tomoioagă celebrated her 35th birthday during the filming of the competition show Asia Express. Her fellow contestants and presenter Irina Fodor organized a surprise celebration involving cakes and songs to mark the occasion.

Separately, producer Mona Segall revealed details regarding Irina Fodor's career trajectory at Antena 1. Fodor, who hosts both Asia Express and Chefi la Cuțite, was originally proposed for her role by casting team member Cătălin Prini rather than being a direct selection by Segall. Segall praised Fodor as an intelligent, optimistic, and calm professional who has successfully filled roles previously held by Gina Pistol.
