Asia Express production crew faces medical crisis in China

Producer Mona Segall has revealed significant health challenges faced by the production crew of the show ‘Asia Express’ during filming in China. According to Segall, extreme fatigue and harsh weather conditions led to a simultaneous illness among several staff members.

In a moment described as a nightmare, 12 crew members, including five camera operators and six other staff, required intravenous drips at the same time. Segall noted that the onsite doctor struggled to manage the situation due to a lack of sufficient medication and the overwhelming number of patients requiring immediate care.

Additional logistical difficulties were reported during missions at the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, where the production team had to navigate strict local regulations and challenging environmental conditions.
