Asia Express Season 9 premieres following the Silk Road route

The ninth season of the reality show Asia Express begins on Antena 1, following a route inspired by the Silk Road. The competition features 18 participants divided into nine teams, who will face challenges across Uzbekistan and China.

In Uzbekistan, contestants will encounter ancient traditions and customs. The journey then moves to China, which is described as a high-tech environment featuring elevated highways, robots, and LED-lit architecture. The season aims to highlight the cultural contrast between the two nations, forcing participants to adapt to different social norms, local cuisines, and language barriers.

Among the competitors are two individuals from Bistrița: pilot Mihai Ban, who is competing alongside Cheloo, and Mirela Retegan, who is participating with her daughter, Maya.
