Asia Ingredients Group expands sustainable coconut ecosystem in Vinh Long

Asia Ingredients Group (AIG) is expanding its sustainable ecosystem by strengthening coconut raw material areas in Vinh Long province, Vietnam. As part of its 25th-anniversary initiatives, the company is providing technical support, production materials, and cultivation cost assistance to more than 19,000 farming households across 18 communes.

Vinh Long province holds approximately 122,870 hectares of coconut trees, accounting for over 61% of Vietnam's total coconut area. The region's coconut industry is increasingly meeting strict international organic standards, including USDA, EU, and JAS, with products exported to 90 countries and territories. AIG, through its modern Asia Coconut Processing (ACP) factory system, aims to support the province's goal of building a green, circular, and climate-resilient coconut industry through 2045.
