Asia Pacific Screen Awards announce 19th edition nominees

The Asia Pacific Screen Academy has announced the nominees for the 19th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA). A total of 36 films from 32 countries and regions are competing for honors this year.

Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s ‘All of a Sudden’ and Abinash Bikram Shah’s ‘Elephants in the Fog’ are leading the nominations, with three nods each, including Best Film. Other Best Film nominees include Shahrbanoo Sadat’s ‘No Good Men’, Levan Koguashvili’s ‘Guria’, and Sompot Chidgasornpongse’s ‘9 Temples to Heaven’, each receiving two nominations.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Gold Coast, Australia. Mandy Walker has been named the APSA International Jury President. The event will be accompanied by the Asia Pacific Screen Forum, running from October 28 to 30.
