Asia Rose Simpson emerges as Miss World 2026 frontrunner

Asia Rose Simpson is positioned as a strong contender for the Miss World 2026 title, aiming to secure the first win for the Philippines since Megan Young in 2013. The 18-year-old delegate has demonstrated significant momentum throughout the competition, including winning the Head-to-Head Challenge for the Asia and Oceania group to secure a spot in the Top 40.

Simpson’s performance in preliminary stages included a third-place finish in the talent competition for her rendition of Pandanggo sa Ilaw and placements in the Top Model and Sports challenges. According to the Missosology Final Hot Picks, she is ranked fourth among 30 candidates, trailing delegates from Vietnam, Nigeria, and the Dominican Republic.

The Miss World 2026 finale is scheduled to take place in Nha Trang, Vietnam, featuring a field of 110 delegates.
