Asia Rose Simpson secures Miss World 2026 Top 40 spot

Asia Rose Simpson, representing the Philippines, has secured a spot in the Top 40 quarterfinals of the Miss World 2026 pageant. Simpson achieved this by winning the Asia and Oceania group in the Head-to-Head Challenge held in Nha Trang, Vietnam.

During the competition, Simpson presented her SĒD (Sports and Dance) Initiatives, an advocacy program focused on youth mental, physical, and emotional well-being. The program has reportedly reached over 10,000 students through mental health curricula, scholarships, and equipment donations. In her responses, she emphasized the importance of cultural roots and the Filipino spirit of 'Kapwa' and 'Bayanihan' in a modernized world.

Other winners of the regional challenges who earned automatic Top 40 slots include Romanda Hombir (Africa), Georgi-Lee Gill (Americas and Caribbean), and Julia Kuhnle (Europe). The Miss World coronation night is scheduled for September 5, 2026, in Vietnam.
