Asiago hosts hockey Supercoppa and 90‑year winter Olympic celebration

On Saturday 12 September, HC Asiago will open the 2026‑27 hockey season by facing Kaltern in the Italian Supercoppa at the Odegar arena, with the trophy at stake and a chance to raise the club’s total Supercoppa wins to seven.

On 1 August, Asiago will also hold the “Altopiano Olimpico” event to mark 90 years of continuous winter‑Olympic participation from the Sette Comuni plateau. The ceremony will feature living Olympians and their families, as well as special guests such as former cross‑country ski champion Manuela Di Centa. Presidents Flavio Roda of the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) and Andrea Gios of the Italian Ice Sports Federation (FISG) will attend, underscoring the region’s long‑standing role in elite winter sport.
