Asiago to host National Unity and Armed Forces Day celebrations

The city of Asiago will host the celebrations for National Unity and the Armed Forces Day on November 4. The event is organized by the City of Asiago, the Prefecture of Vicenza, and the Center of Excellence for Stability Police Units (CoESPU), with participation from the City and Province of Vicenza.

Asiago was chosen for its symbolic importance as a major theater of the First World War. The ceremonies will include honors for the fallen, a procession through the city center, and an institutional ceremony at Piazzale degli Eroi. The program also includes a memorial Mass at the Duomo di San Matteo to honor those who died in service.
