Saudi Industrial Forum 2026 focuses on innovation and strategic partnerships

The second edition of the Saudi Industrial Forum 2026 is currently taking place in Jeddah, focusing on the theme ‘Innovation for Industrial Sustainability.’ The event brings together government officials, investors, and manufacturers to discuss the future of the Kingdom’s industry, supply chain development, and production efficiency.

Key highlights include the Makkah Region Development Authority signing three memorandums of understanding with MODON, Shanghai Development Company, and the Energy and Water Academy to enhance investment and workforce training. Additionally, Mansour Investment Holding Group is participating through three of its subsidiaries: National Quality Precious Metals (NQP), Hitex, and International Housing Company, showcasing expertise in precious metals, medical industries, and modern construction technologies.

Discussions at the forum emphasize the strategic role of the industrial sector, which has seen the number of industrial facilities grow from 7,000 to over 15,000 under Vision 2030. Other major themes include the integration of artificial intelligence in procurement and the importance of local content to boost non-oil exports and economic resilience.

In separate news, the local organizing committee for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup has launched a random selection service via the ‘Ahlan’ app to manage high demand for tickets, specifically for matches involving the Saudi national team.
