Asian Productivity Organization holds 67th Workshop Meeting in Manila

The Asian Productivity Organization (APO) convened its 67th Workshop Meeting of Heads of National Productivity Organizations (WSM) in Manila from October 20 to 22, 2026. The gathering brought together delegates from APO member economies to advance the APO Vision 2030.

A primary focus of the meeting was transitioning the Strategic Partnership Program (SPP) from the planning phase to active implementation. NPO Heads shared updates regarding SPP Plan activities, discussing progress, challenges, and opportunities for enhanced cooperation. The session also included a review of 2026 activities and the planning of initiatives for 2027.

The inaugural session included remarks from APO Secretary-General Dr. Indra Pradana Singawinata and Dr. Arsenio M. Balisacan, Secretary of the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development for the Philippines. Guest of honor Kim Robert C. de Leon, Secretary of the Department of Budget and Management of the Philippines, also delivered an address.
